The Position: We’re looking for a Dental Authorization Specialist at our Four Oaks location at 6114 US Hwy 301 S Four Oaks, NC 27524.

  •  High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred). 
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly relating to prior authorizations in a dental setting is highly preferred. 
  • Familiarity with dental prior authorization processes for NC dental payers. 
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a medical, dental, or behavioral health setting (preferred). 
  • Strong familiarity with NC Medicaid eligibility requirements and enrollment process. 
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience or training in Epic (preferred) 



  • Play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive timely access to services by obtaining necessary authorizations from insurance providers. You will be responsible for initiating and processing authorization requests, verifying patient insurance coverage, and communicating effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal staff to facilitate the authorization process. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care will contribute to the overall success of our organization in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community.
