Description
The primary function of the Membership Sales Associate will be to solicit membership for the Chamber by generating leads, developing prospects and recruiting new Chamber members. Facilitates member retention strategy.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
--Develop an on-going list of prospects and maintain records for prospective/new chamber members
--Set appointments, makes presentations and “close” the sale to meet monthly and yearly goals
--Develop marketing strategy to achieve yearly new & renewal membership goals including retention visits for new and existing members
--Contact prospective members to explain benefits, cost of membership, events, etc
--Respond to membership calls regarding dues
--Contact members to collect past due payments to convince to renew and/or determine the reason cancelled
--Attend chamber functions and activities, including breakfasts, lunches, Annual dinner, etc.
--Responsible for other duties as assigned
