Experienced Mobile Auto Glass Technician – $30–$32/hr | 4-Day Workweek

Apex Glass Repair LLC is hiring an experienced Mobile Auto Glass Technician for a full-time position based in Selma, NC.

Pay: $30–$32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week — Tuesday through Friday, four 10-hour workdays
Primary Work: Mobile auto glass installation throughout Johnston County, Wake County, and surrounding areas

This is a primarily mobile position. The technician will report to our Selma shop, operate a company Ford Transit, and perform most assigned work at customer, dealership, fleet, and commercial locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Mobile windshield removal and replacement
• Door glass, back glass, quarter glass, and other automotive glass replacement
• Windshield chip repair
• Proper vehicle inspection and protection
• Pinchweld preparation
• Proper primer, urethane, and safe-drive-away procedures
• Pre-scans and post-scans
• ADAS calibrations when required
• Accurate job and calibration documentation
• Maintaining an organized company service van
• Professional communication with customers, dealerships, fleets, and commercial accounts

Qualifications:

• Professional auto glass installation experience
• Ability to independently complete standard windshield replacements
• Comfortable performing primarily mobile work
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Dependable and punctual
• Professional customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision

ADAS calibration experience is preferred but not required. Apex is willing to provide paid calibration training to an experienced installer who is the right fit.

Experience with heavy equipment glass, semi-trucks, fleets, dealerships, sunroofs, specialty glass, or advanced cutout systems is a plus.
